International Committee against Execution: The International Committee against Execution was founded in 2004 by Mina Ahadi, an exiled Iranian woman who herself received the death sentence in absentia from the Islamic regime of Iran in 1980 and whose husband was executed by the regime. The ICAE campaigns to save the life of individuals sentenced to death and for an end to executions in Iran and worldwide.
